Hey people! This is My 10 New Year Resolutions!!
1. Lose 7 pounds
2. Stop My Bad habit of biting my nails
3. Get good grades
4. Start praying everday again like I did in First Grade
5. Be Taller
6. Have the best 9th birthday party EVER!!!
7. Dye my hair Black
8. Not Throw Up (I know Gross, but I don't care)
9. Never move to Iowa
10. Go on a healthy diet

Okay Sarah. You are freakin' hilarious. I've never known anyone to put "not throw up" on their new year's resolutions...so funny! Good luck with that!
ReplyDeleteObviously you are upset about moving to Iowa. I know how you feel. When I was 8 we moved in the middle of the school year from Pequot Lakes to Hermantown. I was devasted. I remember going out in the yard and knocking over the "for sale" sign so no one would buy our house. I had every scheme you could think of going to stop us from making the move. I was a terribly shy kid and the thought of leaving my friends, going into a classroom of strangers, trying to make new friends and fit in petrified me. Well, guess what, it all worked out GREAT. Within a few days I had a best friend (who I kept all through school) and I could see my grandma and extended family all the time! Now I'm so grateful we made the move. It was a great place to grow up! So, long story short, hang in there! I know it's hard, but you will be just fine. Plus, you'll get to see us a whole lot more! I'm here for you!
Ah Sarah, quite the list. Really? Dye your hair black? Don't do it girl! I, too, moved when I was 8. In fact, I moved when I was 7 too. Both times changing schools. But when I was 8 we moved to the country. It really didn't bother me. I had my brothers and my Mom and that's all that mattered. You will have your family and you will be even closer to other family.
ReplyDeleteAnd about that taller thing. As you are only 8 you will grow taller so I really don't think that can be a resolution.
